The first film project where Hans Zimmer used the Analog Code TwinTube was on the score for the Ron Howard feature film “Angels & Demons“, the follow-up to the hugely successful “Da Vinci Code”.

Hans came to the conclusion that, if the plug-ins sounded this great, he must get the actual hardware paragons of the Analog Code plug-ins. So shortly thereafter, Mr. Zimmer took delivery of five RackPack8 units each loaded with Transient Designer, Twin Tube, Dynamaxx, Premium Mic Pre, Bass Rangers and Full Ranger modules as well as five sets of all Analog Code plug-ins adding to his PQ Mastering Equalizer and his newly acquired Phonitor headphone amp.

“Since we do everything in 5.1, we have to be able to process each of the five surround channels identically," Zimmer explains, "so it only made sense to have five RackPacks.”
