Creon in gearnews.de

Claudius was on the look for a new USB interface and he found it!

What did he choose? The SPL Creon!

Here are a couple of excerpts from his review in gearnews.de:

"Since the manufacturer of my former USB interface unfortunately hasn't been able to release drivers for Mac 10.11 or Windows 10, I had to look for a new interface.

"I asked for the advice of friends and colleagues on Internet forums...until I got the press release regarding the introduction of the SPL Creon. Now that's what I call great timing: I had already tested the Creon at the Musikmesse and found it quite interesting, besides I had always wanted to have something SPL."

"The first thing that catches your eye when you are looking for a new interface is the build quality. One word: Impeccable. The housing is completely made of metal (which makes it weighty, but not uncomfortably so) and split in two halves. The controls aren't wobbly and the knobs have a nice resistance to them when you turn them.

"As a Mac user I obviously tried it out it first with my OSX computers, namely a MacBook Air with OSX 10.11 and a Hack Pro with OSX 10.10 and 10.11. In both cases it was recognized immediately without he need of any drivers. Sweet. I can work and record smoothly with a buffer of 64 samples. The Creon is recognized by all my DAWs without batting an eyelid."
